Nadine Furtado, OD, MSc, FAAO

Dr. Nadine Furtado is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science where she is Head of the Ocular Disease and Imaging Service. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, a Clinical Director for Special Olympics Ontario, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Vision Institute of Canada. She is also actively involved with the Vision Care Section of the American Public Health Association, and she travels twice a year to Jamaica with the Eye Health Institute to provide eye care to underserved populations.

Sandip Randhawa, OD, MS, FAAO

Sandip Randhawa completed her Doctor of Optometry at the State University of New York along with her Masters of Science in Vision Science in 2011. The following year, she completed her residency in Primary Care/Ocular Disease at Salus University - Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She started at the School of Optometry - University of Waterloo in 2012 and has been employed as a full-time clinician providing comprehensive eye care since.

Olivia Ricci, OD

Olivia Ricci completed her Honours Bachelor of Science degree at McMaster University, where she majored in life sciences and minored in psychology. Following completion of undergraduate studies, Olivia went on to simultaneously obtain both a Bachelor of Science in Vision Science degree and Doctor of Optometry degree at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. During her time in South Florida, Olivia completed clinical rotations at Eye Centers of South Florida and Envision Eye Care. Olivia was honoured to receive two awards at graduation; the Beaver-Visitec International Dry Eye Award and the William Feinbloom Low Vision Award. Olivia is currently completing residency training in ocular disease at the University of Waterloo School of Optometry. Her areas of interest include treatment and management of ocular surface disease and glaucoma, and low vision rehabilitation.
